the serene location, with stunning sea views, offered a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. the recently renovated apartment, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room, felt like a home away from home. As a boutique hotel manager and wine connoisseur, I appreciated the attention to detail - from the well-stocked fridge to the espresso machine in our room. the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool with a mesmerizing view of the sunset, creating a romantic ambiance that set the perfect tone for evenings spent savoring local wines. Maria & Boskov, the gracious owners, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel like cherished friends rather than mere guests. Their genuine warmth and hospitality added an extra layer of charm to our experience. Exploring the nearby areas was a breeze, thanks to the complimentary bicycles available. For those who prefer to drive, the short distance to Rethymno city and other attractions made Villa Callisto an excellent base for exploration. the well-equipped kitchenette and outdoor barbecue facilities allowed us to indulge in leisurely meals on the terrace, soaking in the picturesque surroundings. As we departed Villa Callisto, we left not just as clients, but as grateful souls who had discovered a gem in the heart of Greece.
